Soren is a devout Mormon who dies expecting heaven. But he wakes up in an afterlife he never saw coming, a version of Hell shaped like an infinite library containing every possible book ever written, mostly nonsense. Think Borges' Babel, but having to live in it. To get out, he has to find the one book that tells the true story of his life, but it could take billions of years.

Steven L. Peck is an evolutionary biologist and professor at Brigham Young University who writes fiction at the crossroads of science, faith and existential dread.
