Make Something Up — Kids Writing Workshop

A very playful creative writing workshop for 8–12 year olds.

What if your teacher was secretly a dragon? What if your cat had a criminal record? What if the moon was actually made of cheese? We'll start with ridiculous questions, make up even more ridiculous answers and see where our imaginations take us.

Join our beloved bookseller Chantel Loura for a morning of games, wonderfully weird prompts, mischievous characters, and a little bit of chaos. We'll turn silly ideas into stories and discover just how much fun playing with words can be. There are no perfect endings to write or wrong answers here! The goal is simple: to have fun, get creative and leave with a head full of ideas and the urge to write more.
