It is also all over the cultural conversation right now. But what mothering actually is depends entirely on our capacity to discuss it critically and take a good hard look at it—and at ourselves.

Join us for Othering / Mothering, an intimate conversation and masterclass led by Joana Márkus Neves, who works in publishing and has degrees on both Philosophy and Gender Studies. She'll deconstruct the romanticized, the demonized and all the taboo sides of motherhood, leaning on brilliant contemporary literature to guide the debate.

An evening of grounded analysis, great books and conversation, dismantling the idea that mothering is just "an instinct".
